Workchoices was the major point of difference between the two parties with the issue being driven by the union movement. The stakes for the unions were high and they had no hesitation in pouring $30 million of members’ funds into the campaign. Hang about – what about a hung Parliament?

Given that we now have fixed four year terms in NSW a ‘hung’ Parliament would be the worst possible outcome for the State. It matters not which major political party forms minority government, Labor or Liberal, the result will be the same. Political chaos for the next four years! (more…)
