Rather than celebrating the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights we should be questioning the tragic excesses of human wrongs. Article 1 of the declaration states that ‘all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood’. (more…)
