We’re heading in the right direction – but there’s more to be done!!

This election is not about Labor’s record after 12 years in office. If it was they would be thrown out.

Despite a GST windfall, a property boom and record gambling taxes NSW is teetering on the edge of recession. So where has the money gone? How could they have squandered such an opportunity?

It is clear Labor has squibbed the big decisions. Vital infrastructure projects – dams, roads, public transport, health and educational facilities – are now off their agenda. A bloated bureaucracy, greedy mates and the insidious influence of the Greens have seen to that.

This is why Labor’s spin doctors have not mentioned the word ‘Labor’ in their campaign. It is electoral poison.

A few other words guaranteed to conjure images of scorn among punters include ‘Carr’, ‘Scully’, ‘Sartor’, ‘Costa’ and ‘Tripodi’. Add the word ‘Iemma’ to this mob and you have NSW Inc. They epitomise the much feared brotherhood of the NSW Labor Right who will do ‘whatever it takes’ to stay in power.

They kick heads and they kick them hard. Their public attacks on Peter Debnam have been the most vindictive, malicious and untruthful assaults on an Opposition leader in the history of NSW politics. Nothing is sacred. Their shameful mocking of Debnam’s distinguished Naval service is an affront to every veteran.

After 12 years of mob rule motorists have to crawl to and from work on the M5. Our trains are classified as the worst in the world. Our kids have to swelter in decrepit classrooms. Our sick and elderly have to wait years for elective surgery. Our retirees can’t water their gardens.

If ever there was time for change it is now.

Punters who cut through the Labor propaganda will see that the Coalition is ready for change. Labor is tired and bereft of ideas after 12 long years in power. The Coalition is united, fresh, energetic and ready to fix NSW.

The Liberal Party has selected two of the finest candidates in the State for the seats of Camden and Wollondilly. Chris Patterson and Sharryn Hilton are both local business people who know how difficult it is to survive in the highest taxing State in the country. They have a powerful shared vision for the area and both are dedicated to ensuring Camden and Wollondilly lead the challenge for NSW to be recognized as ‘the Premier State’ once again.

Prediction. Sharryn Hilton to win Wollondilly for the Liberal Party with Chris Patterson poised to cause a major upset in Camden. But if it is possible to fool most of the people most of the time the Greens and ‘Independents’ will ensure Labor hangs onto power.

But don’t blame me – I’m voting Liberal!
